About 100 Black Men of Tampa Bay, Inc.
100 Black Men of Tampa Bay, Inc. (100 BMTB) was created to serve the mission of improving the quality of life of our communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans. This mission has served as a guide to the activities of our 501(c)(3) chapter since it was chartered in 2002 for nine counties (Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota, and Sumter). We are one of over ninety national and international chapters of the 100 Black Men of America. Our organization has worked diligently towards channeling resources and opportunities into agendas that reinforce the core tenets of The 100; Mentoring, Education, Health & Wellness, and Economic Empowerment, collectively known as Mentoring Across a Lifetime.
100 Black Men of America, Inc. seeks to serve as a beacon of leadership by utilizing our diverse talents to create an environment where our children are motivated to achieve and to empower our people to become self-sufficient shareholders in the economic and social fabric of the communities we serve.
