About Jack and Jill Denver
We are mothers engaged in cultural, philanthropic, and community activities intended to nurture our children to gracefully evolve into African-American leaders.
Jack and Jill of America, Inc., is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2 – 19, dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty.”
Philanthropy is at the core of our work, and we strive to teach our children the importance of giving back. Developing our next generation of leaders, innovators, and thinkers drives us to create programming for our children, families, and communities. Programming is the heart of our mission, it supports the development of our children, brings us closer together as families, and supports our charge to be of service to the community.
Through programming, each Jack & Jill child has an opportunity to discover the world, gain exposure to unique experiences, build a network, find their voice, and to shape their community in a safe and nurturing environment. As Mother’s we support the importance of programming by generously creating and facilitating opportunities for our children to have hands on experiences with high-quality, enriching programs and activities. We encourage each child to critically think, while boldly finding solutions, and mechanisms for stronger collaboration. Through programming we support our Jack & Jill children in uncovering new things about themselves, and in forming life-long bonds with one another that can never be broken.
