The Chicago Chapter, established in 1947 as the eleventh chapter of the national organization, has grown from its founding group of thirty-nine mothers to over 120 active members. Additionally, the organization maintains specialized programs for teens, advisors, associates, and a fathers auxiliary, recognizing that community leadership development requires multi-generational participation.
