About Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Cincinnati Chapter
Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is a membership organization of mothers who are dedicated to nurturing future leaders by providing opportunities for children (ages 2-19) through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty. We believe every child can be a leader!
Years following the establishment of the national organization in January 1938, the Cincinnati Chapter of Jack and Jill was installed in 1953. For more than 65 years, we continue to meet the aims of the national organization by providing unique experiences that aid mother’s and children’s growth in mutual respect for one another, themselves and the community at large.
By developing and focusing our community service efforts in four critical areas –education, legislative advocacy, mental health and the economically disadvantaged - we have been, and continue to be positioned to make a positive impact on the Cincinnati community.
Our chapter follows the National Theme, “The Power to Make a Difference, We Can do More”, by giving our children and all children MORE opportunities to learn, MORE opportunities to experience our African-American heritage and MORE opportunities to express their creativity and passion. While doing so, we are fulfilling our Chapter theme of #Marvelous Moms Making and IMPACT!
