About Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Richmond Chapter

Jack and Jill of America, Inc., is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2 through 19, dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving, and civic duty. As part of the MARvelous Mid-Atlantic Region, the Richmond Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. was chartered in 1950 with 14 charter members and continues to plan many exciting activities for children, raise funds for national and local causes, as well as serve in the community. The Richmond Chapter is the oldest and largest chapter in the Richmond area with 63 mother members, 51 teens, and 107 children. The Richmond Chapter is also proud to have 15 associate members and a father's auxiliary.
