About Jack & Jill of America, Inc. South Belt Houston Chapter
Jack & Jill of America, Inc. South Belt Houston Chapter provides comprehensive youth development programming designed to nurture African-American children ages 2 to 20 in the Houston, Texas area. Since its charter in 1992, the South Belt Houston Chapter has delivered structured educational, cultural, health, recreational, and social activities that foster leadership development and character building. The chapter's programming focuses on three core areas: developing and enhancing leadership skills through mentorship and guidance, engaging children in meaningful volunteer service and community involvement, and exposing young members to enriching educational and cultural experiences that broaden their perspectives. Serving families primarily in Pearland, Manvel, and surrounding southeast Houston communities, the chapter maintains a membership of 170 women committed to excellence. The organization operates as one of 32 chapters within the South Central Region of Jack and Jill, providing children with access to a structured network of support and resources. Through carefully designed activities throughout the year, the South Belt Houston Chapter helps young members develop into confident, culturally aware leaders while building lasting friendships within a supportive community. The chapter's approach combines individual child development with family engagement, recognizing that mothers and associates play essential roles in guiding the next generation of African-American leaders.
