About National Congress of Black Women Greater Cleveland Chapter

We envision a community where all Black females are nurtured and empowered to dedicate their time, talents and resources to ensuring they are at the decision-making table, a part of the conversation, to address issues that impact Black women, their families and communities.

National Congress of Black Women Greater Cleveland Chapter formed in September 16, 2016 during NCBW's 32nd Annual Awards Brunch at the Gaylord Conference Center, in National Harbor, Maryland. Then, on Saturday, October 8, 2016, the Chapter partnered with national and state organizations to host a meeting with Black women leaders to hear and discuss the latest information on Black Voter Messaging and the Black Women's Roundtable Essence Report of Black Women.

Today, The NCBW-GCC members are even more tenacious and focused on developing and advocating public policy on matters such as the preschool to prison pipeline, access to healthcare, healthy food, and equal rights as well as engaging Black women non-partisan leadership activities and building tomorrow's leaders with active roles for younger members and officers.
