About One Hundred Black Men of Albany, NY
One Hundred Black Men of the Albany, New York Capital Region serves the Schenectady, NY community and surrounding tri-city area through comprehensive programming focused on education, mentoring, youth development, arts and culture, economic empowerment, health and wellness, and criminal justice. Since its founding in 1993, this organization of dedicated professionals has combined thought-leadership with direct service to create meaningful positive change in living conditions for African American and minority communities.
The organization operates multiple specialized programs addressing critical community needs. Through the 100 NET initiative, they have provided computer connectivity to underserved communities across Albany, Schenectady, and Troy, along with introductory, intermediate, and advanced computer training through camps and classroom instruction.
