About Seattle U Law Black Law Student Association
The Seattle University Law Black Law Student Association (SUBLSA) is a chapter of the National Black Law Students Association dedicated to supporting Black law students and fostering academic excellence within Seattle University School of Law's diverse community. Based in Seattle, WA, SUBLSA serves as a vital resource for Black law students pursuing their JD, LLM, MLS, and SJD degrees at one of the Pacific Northwest's premier legal institutions.
As an active student organization within Seattle University School of Law, SUBLSA focuses on creating a supportive network that promotes professional development and academic success among Black law students. The organization works to bridge the gap between students and the broader legal community by facilitating mentorship opportunities, professional networking events, and career development initiatives. Members benefit from connections with faculty, legal practitioners, and alumni who provide guidance and insight into various practice areas and career trajectories.
