UNLV Black Law Students Association

The Black Law Students Association (BLSA) at the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, NV is a dynamic student organization dedicated to supporting Black law students throughout their legal education and career development. Operating within one of Nevada's most innovative law schools, BLSA provides essential networking, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for students pursuing careers in law. BLSA leverages the exceptional resources available at Boyd School of Law, including the state-of-the-art William S. Boyd Hall, the prestigious Thomas and Mack Moot Court Facility, and the comprehensive Wiener-Rogers Law Library—which houses the most substantial collection of legal materials in Nevada. These world-class facilities enable BLSA members to develop trial advocacy skills, appellate advocacy expertise, and gain exposure to real-world legal challenges through the school's renowned clinical programs and public service initiatives.
